Dr.V. Balasubramani is recognized as a distinguished researcher with significant contributions to the fields of organic chemistry and biotechnology. He completed his doctorate focusing on "Studies on the Synthesis and Applications of Novel Chiral Catalysts for Asymmetric Synthesis" from Bharathiar University, in collaboration with the Asthagiri Herbal Research Foundation. His work has centered on advancing chemical synthesis, particularly developing novel chiral catalysts, which play a crucial role in asymmetric synthesis—an important process in creating molecules with specific three-dimensional structures.

He has an impressive interdisciplinary approach that integrates collaborative research, scientific publishing, and patent innovation. His research includes developing natural products and enabling their industrial applications, reflecting a blend of academic excellence and practical innovation. His association with Asthagiri Herbal Research Foundation, known for its focus on crop protection and biotechnology research, further supports his contributions to natural product research and application in industrial biotechnology.

The multidisciplinary nature of his work spans organic chemistry, biotechnology, and the development of novel catalytic processes, making him a prominent figure in his research areas. His contributions help bridge fundamental chemical synthesis with applied industrial processes, particularly in the synthesis and application of chiral catalysts.

Most of his work has been acknowledged by the Crystallographic Department of the University of Madras, which highlights his expertise in structural analysis at the molecular level. About Dr. S. Narasimhan

Dr. S. Narasimhan, Chairman of the Asthagiri Herbal Research Foundation, is a distinguished Indian scientist known for his expertise in herbal drug discovery, pheromone technology, and natural products. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship (PDF) in organoboron chemistry under Professor H.C. Brown, a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry (1979), at Purdue University from 1979 to 1982. This association with Prof. H.C. Brown highlights his strong academic foundation and training with one of the leading chemists.

Dr. Narasimhan has received several prestigious recognitions, including the Tamil Nadu Scientist Award in 1999, Technology Transfer Awards for Neem Pesticide and Botanical Fungicide, and the M.V. Swaminathan Endowment Award for Phytochemistry in 2011. He has been actively involved in scientific leadership roles, such as a task force member of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, chairmanship of the Chromatographic Society of India, and mentorship of numerous Ph.D. scholars in reputed universities.

He is highly regarded for his dedicated work, having published around 125 scientific papers and holding 23 patents. Under his guidance, the Asthagiri Herbal Research Foundation has become a notable center for herbal research, natural products, and agricultural pest control technologies.
